Being on staff with YWAM is an adventure in faith! YWAM does not pay a salary to any one of its staff. Infact  our full time staff has to pay monthly staff fees to cover food and board . Most of our volunteers meet their financial needs by partnering with friends and churches who support their ministry. In some areas, our staff work in other businesses for financial, practical or ministry reasons.

To join YWAM staff you first need to complete a Discipleship Training School (DTS) or Crossroads DTS, but we give exceptions on a case by case basis.

We are looking for full time staff for the following positions below:

1. Volunteer crèche helpers

Commitment: 2 years as full time staff living on base
Responsibilities:
To assist in the care and well being of pre-school children during weekdays.
To help with the set up and clear up of the Crèche when on duty.
Skills/Training required:
Prior childcare experience preferred but not essential.

2. Ministry and School Staff

Commitment: long term commitment
Description: Teaching and leading Christian practice, carrying out
ministry and pastoral care of students and leading outreach teams.
Skills/Training required:
Must have completed a DTS and FMS, able to lead worship, intercession and small groups.

3. Kitchen Manager

Commitment: long term commitment
Description:
Someone to take care of the kitchen and related duties. New Zealand volunteer required.
Skills/Training required: Cooking, menu planning, ordering, supervision of teams.

4. Home School Supervisor or teacher for Foreign students

Commitment: long term commitment
Description: Supervision, planning and physical education.
Skills/Training required: Supervisory and planning skills.
