Ross & Sheryll Watkins
FM NZ DirectorsNew Zealand
Ross & Sheryll Watkins: Ross is a local, born and bred, attended school here in Matamata. Sheryll was brought up in Hamilton, and met Ross at University, married in 1976, while both were training to be teachers. After teaching for a few years they returned to sheep farming, then dairy farming at Piarere, and raising their four children. Their children are now grown and married and have their own families. YWAM involvement includes Family Camps, FDTS in 1992, FMS, IBC, LDC and several Kings Kids outreaches. Our heart and passion is with FM and we love to see families coming to learn more about God, themselves, and their families, and be restored, changed, and matured, and then go on to serve God in whatever capacity He should call them to work in. -

I started off as a mission builder at the Oxford base and on the 5th of October 2009, I started my Crossroads/Father Heart DTS. It was a very unique and special time in my life to know how much my Father loves me. For the first time in my life, I was actually in love and that love is so pure and clean and you want it always there. So in July 2010 we came to Crystal Springs and did the DTS and the FMS school here.During our time here in Crystal Springs God has touched our life in an amazing way. During the school God spoke to us about serving on staff and so we are excited and are looking forward to serving here but we are also absolutely dependent on God for help and guidance in all the challenges we will face.
